BOB'S CLAM HUT AND
ANNABELLE'S NATURAL ICE CREAM REUNITE
KITTERY ME Twenty-one years ago ice cream was first served at Bob's Clam
Hut, the local landmark that's been serving award winning clams and
lobster rolls since 1956. The ice cream being served back then in 1988
was Portsmouth's beloved Annabelle's.
This summer, the two companies are reuniting. “This is an exciting time
for us at Annabelle’s Ice Cream. We try to partner with companies that
have the same passion for serving their customers the best possible
products. It is obvious to us that Bob’s Clam Hut shares our passion and
vision. We are so happy to be able to compliment Bob’s Clam Hut menu with
our super premium, all natural ice cream. We look forward to our renewed
relationship,” says Annabelle’s owner Lewis Palosky.
"Ice cream is such a natural with fried seafood - be it a shake with the
meal or a sundae afterwards. At Bob's we are always serving the highest
quality we can find - be it our select clams delivered daily , to the
finest fresh haddock, scallops and cleanest oil. That's what we're known
for. So we need an equally exceptional ice cream to go along with our food
and Annabelle's is just that. It's super premium, all natural and local,
and of course, delicious," says Bob's owner Michael Landgarten.
During the first couple of weeks of re-introducing Annabelle's at Bob's
there will be many free tastings and ice cream give a ways.
Bob’s is open year round, 7 days a
week. Hours are posted on the main page at www.bobsclamhut.com
Bob’s was named Best Clam Shack in New England by
Boston Magazine in 2007.
